Pennypacker Mills, 5 Haldeman Rd., is the former home of Samuel W. Pennypacker, Pennsylvania's 25th governor. The house was built in the early 18th century and after Pennypacker bought the house in 1900 he had an architect transform it into a Georgian-style Colonial Revival mansion. Historical documents and original family furnishings and artifacts can be seen. Special events, educational activities and changing exhibits are offered throughout the year.
Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted.
