AAA Editor Notes
Flight 93 National Memorial is on Lambertsville Rd., about 3 mi. s. of US 30 (Lincoln Hwy.). A memorial overlooks the crash site of Flight 93 and honors the 40 heroes aboard who sacrificed their lives in order to thwart a terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol on Sept. 11, 2001. National Park Service volunteers and staff inform visitors of that day's events. A self-guided audio cellphone tour is available.

Next to the Memorial Plaza, visitors can walk alongside the marble Wall of Names and view outdoor exhibit panels. The Visitor Center Complex includes a learning center that features exhibits and multimedia display and the Flight Path walkway. A 93-foot musical instrument called the Tower of Voices houses 40 wind chimes, one for each of those who died in the tragic crash.
