We had a fire alarm go off on Friday night at approx 2:45 am. A little concerning that we were sent back to our rooms without a fire depth inspection of the building.
Pros: Very clean with comfortable beds. The free breakfast was good and helped reduce the food bill.Proximity to restaurants was good.
Cons: Pricey for a Hampton Inn but that was due to demand on a Penn State football weekend. The air conditioning would shut off at random times throughout the night.

Cons: The large room only had 2 chairs. A love seat would have been nice. So we watched TV from bed. No one ever asked me for my Hilton Honors card. Not sure if i got the points.

Pros: I loved that you could get coffee, tea, and water in the lobby anytime. Plus cookies! The staff was very accommodating. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was a pleasant stay.

Just a few items that needed addressed a light bulb was out, bathroom faucet leaks on counter and room had a musty smell. We informed the front desk at check out so these items could be fixed.

Why the heavy comforters?

Cons: I was not able to accompany my family, which consisted of husband, and two sons over 18 years. Because I was the "third party," the hotel gave us no receipt??? Why not? Also, why are the heavy comforters being used in the summer time? Not everyone wants the a/c on high, but it usually comes down to that when you do not have a lighter blanket to use, and there is no window to open.

Pros: Abundance of choices, from healthy with fresh fruit juices, lite fare, and the surroundings/seating area was very cozy. Staff was exceptional and very hospitable.
Cons: Minor issue with laundry facilities being inoperable. Front desk made arrangements for us to go next door to the Marriott to use theirs since we arrived very late at night and absolutely needed to do laundry before the next morning.

Williamsburg Square at its Finest!
Pros: The staff members we met were outstanding! Maria at the front desk; Nick at the front desk; and Kisha who took care of providing the breakfast goodies...Kisha received a big hug from me on our last morning - she is a real keeper! So are the others! We also met "Henry", the vacuum that cleans our room. I don't remember the housekeeper's name, but she and Henry kept our room and bath pristine. We fully intend to stay at this facility on any future trips to Happy Valley. Last, but not least, the breakfast fare at this Hampton was beyond compare...it left us not wanting for a thing!
Cons: Everything was wonderful...I don't have any negative things to report.

Pros: The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff warm and pleasant. Easy access to the major roads we needed to travel.
Cons: I asked for a stained sheet to be replaced and they failed to do so. This was not good. No refrigerator in the room.

Mixed feelings....nice facilities but staff...
Pros: Before comfortable. Nice bathroom toiletries. Lobby and kitchen area very nice. Housekeeping friendly.
Cons: In the morning shortly before I checked out, two people walked in my room without knocking, they had a room key. They said they were doing some decorating. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.
I found people at front desk not too friendly. I was not asked how my stay was when I left. When I checked in breakfast was not explained to me.

Clean and peaceful.
Pros: Quiet and relaxing. It's our second time here in less than a year. We enjoyed it each time. It's close to PSU and local stores and restaurants.
Cons: The omelets had ham and the potatoes were in the same warmer as the bacon. We don't eat pork and this mix was very disappointing.

I Keep Coming Back!
Pros: This was my third visit to this hotel. My son goes to Camp Woodward for a fun skate camp and I have a week to myself and am only about 30 minutes away from him. As usual, the staff was friendly and the room was very clean. Breakfast was very good and the people who ran it went the extra mile for you like bringing out more fresh fruit.
Cons: I hadn't requested a refrigerator for a weeks stay, so when I got there registration said they would get me one. I went out and came back over an hour later and they still hadn't brought one up. When I inquired with the sweet maid she was told it would be another hour, so she went and got me one right away. :)

Pros: Breakfast so so, but not unexpectedly so. Nice to have coffee and tea available in lobby all the time, and the chocolate chip cookies were a nice touch. Room comfortable, quiet, clean. Location good for my purpose (just stop on road trip). There are plenty of chain restaurants nearby, including an Olive Garden across parking lot, with a pedestrian walkway to it.
