Flight 93 National Memorial is on Lambertsville Rd., about 3 mi. s. of US 30 (Lincoln Hwy.). A memorial overlooks the crash site of Flight 93 and honors the 40 heroes aboard who sacrificed their lives in order to thwart a terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol on Sept. 11, 2001. National Park Service volunteers and staff inform visitors of that day's events. A self-guided audio cell phone tour is available. Next to the Memorial Plaza, visitors can walk alongside the marble Wall of Names and view outdoor exhibit panels. The Visitor Center Complex includes a learning center that features exhibits and multimedia display and the Flight Path walkway.

Hours: Memorial grounds open daily, dawn-dusk. Visitor center daily 9-5. Visitor center closed Jan. 1, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
