Farm Museum & Historic Village (Bradford County Heritage Association) is on SR 14 in Alparon Park, .5 mi. n. of jct. US 6. Exhibits, which include re-creations of a general store, icehouse, blacksmith shop and woodworking shop, allow visitors to imagine what rural life was like in America's past. Examples of agricultural equipment and farming implements are displayed. Also on the grounds are an 1822 house; an herb garden; a carriage house with a carriage, wagon and sleigh collection; a maple sugar house; a one-room schoolhouse; a barbershop; and a children's church. The Pennsylvania Heritage Festival is held the third weekend in September. Camping is permitted.
$7; $5 (ages 60+); $3 (students grades K-12); free (ages 0-5).
Hours: Thurs.-Sat. 9-4, Sun. 1-4, late Apr.-late Oct.; by appointment rest of year. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
