The Heritage Village and Farm Museum is on SR 14 in Alparon Park, .5 mi. n. of jct. US 6. Exhibits, which include re-creations of a general store, ice harvest, blacksmith shop and woodworking shop, allow visitors to imagine what rural life was like in America's past. Examples of agricultural equipment and farming implements are displayed. Also on the grounds are the 1822 Gregory Inn; herb, friendship and dye gardens; a carriage house with a carriage, wagon and sleigh collection; a maple sugar house; a one-room schoolhouse; a barbershop; and a children's church. The Pennsylvania Heritage Festival is held the third weekend in September. Camping is permitted.
