AAA Editor Notes

National Memorial Arch, off SR 23 in Valley Forge National Historical Park, commemorates the patriotism and suffering of George Washington and the men who were under his command; it was dedicated in 1917. The final design was inspired by the Arch of Titus in Rome. The inner walls of this 60-foot high granite memorial contain bronze plaques listing the names of the general officers at Valley Forge.
