Chanticleer Garden

Chanticleer Garden, 786 Church Rd., is a 35-acre garden situated on the former estate of pharmaceutical magnate Adolph Rosengarten Sr. Included throughout the various gardens are landscaped courtyards; flowering trees and shrubs; vegetable and herb gardens; tropical plants; perennials and annuals; and woodlands and ponds. Minder Ruin Garden displays plantings among the foundation of a razed stone house. The Rosengarten house contains family furniture, decorative arts and fresh flower arrangements from the garden; participants may tour the garden on their own following the house tour.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
