Eckley Miners' Village is off SR 940, following signs. This living-history museum is a 19th-century anthracite mining village with approximately 50 buildings. Exhibits, pictures and a 17-minute video presentation shown in the visitor center depict the lives of miners and their families. Some houses not open to the public are occupied by descendants of miners.
