Historic. In a restored 1854 Victorian mansion built by Peter Herdic, a 19th-century Pennsylvania lumber baron, the fine-dining establishment is an architectural, as well as historical and culinary, treat. The menu offers seasonal local and organic ingredients when available. A local favorite, roasted hen with lemon is from a local farm. The rack of lamb, crab cakes, wild Alaskan salmon, macadamia-crusted halibut, and pear, walnut and Gorgonzola salad all are excellent choices.
