Peter Wentz Farmstead, 2100 Schultz Rd. with entrance on Shearer Rd., is an 18th-century Pennsylvania German working farm of more than 90 acres with a Georgian mansion furnished in period. The house twice was used by George Washington as headquarters during the Revolutionary War. Period crafts and farming demonstrations are given during special events offered throughout the year. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
Hours: Tues.-Sat. 10-4, Sun. 1-4. Last tour begins 30 minutes before closing. Closed major holidays.
