Peter Wentz Farmstead, 2030 Shearer Rd., is an 18th-century Pennsylvania German working farm of more than 100 acres with a 1758 Georgian mansion furnished in period. The house twice served as George Washington’s headquarters during the Revolutionary War. Demonstrations of early 18th- and early 19th-century crafts and farming are given during special events offered throughout the year.
