Ardgowan National Historic Site is at 2 Palmers Ln. at jct. Mt. Edward Rd. Ardgowan was the home of William Henry Pope, one of Prince Edward Island's Fathers of Confederation. It is an example of the cottage orné (picturesque cottage) architectural style. The cottage is not open for tours, but visitors may stroll the grounds to see the period gardens and birds that frequent the site.
Picnicking is permitted.
