Elmira Railway Museum is at 457 Elmira Rd. Containing one of the largest model railway collections in Canada, the station features exhibits that recount the history of railroading on Prince Edward Island. Photographs and maps highlight the island's rail stations with their varied architecture. Artifacts displayed include the station's telegraph equipment, fare books and schedules. In July and August, visitors can ride the speeder and the PEI Miniature Railway.
Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
