House of Culture (Casa de la Cultura) is 1 blk. s. of the Zócalo at Av. 5 Oriente #5, facing the s. side of the Cathedral. It is housed in the former Archbishop's Palace (Palacio del Obispado), a building in the classic poblano style—patterned red brick interspersed with glazed blue-and-white tiles, windows framed in white stucco, and a flat roof embellished with a row of white spikes. It contains a concert and lecture hall as well as the Palafox Library. Free maps of the city can be obtained here.
