National Museum of Mexican Railways (Museo Nacional de Los Ferrocarriles Mexicanos) is at Calle 11 Norte #1005 (at Av. 10 Poniente), about 6 blks. n.w. of the Zócalo; street parking in the vicinity is limited. Housed in a former railway station, the museum's exhibits include repair equipment, a collection of watches from railroad employees, a station diorama, historical photographs and a children's area with costumed characters. The large train yard features several antique and early 20th-century trains, including several that can be walked through.
