Pros: Staff is great. Great breakfast menu. Love the place.
Cons: My room was extremely loudly, make sure you ask for a room that does not face the street. It will wake me up 1hr earlier than the usual.

Pros: 1.Friendly reception/check-in; also, Claudia referred (scheduled) a wonderful makeup and hair person to come to the room for my wife for an evening formal event; called taxi's, etc. (Claudia was at the reception and so polite and friendly/helpful. I was more than happy to tip her for her cheery help.). 2. Historical building was interesting (built in the 1500's; retracting roof over the beautiful courtyard which is used as restaurant seating. 3. Excellent room cleaning and supplies including toothbrush/paste; razor, loofah; slippers; robe; chocolate each night; weather forecast. 4. Room was small but the bed, comforter and linens were very comfortable.
Cons: 1. The room safe was NOT bolted to wall. It was simply sitting in the closet shelf. 2. No drawers/dressers in room or bathroom except the night stand drawer. 3. No hooks in bathroom for towels, robe 4. The Bar furniture is worn and dated. It is nice to have antiques but the chairs teminded me of just old junk. 5. Hotels can be noisy from traffic, barking dogs outside, hallway traffic, particularly old ones like this hotel.

Pros: The stuff at reception was very unfriendly. They call their rooms suites, but they are just ordinary hotel rooms. Nothing special at all. Water in bathroom didn't work. When I left they smashed my suitcase and wouldn't even notify me. Only realized when I got off taxi at the next town and had to buy a new one. Very disappointing. No idea why 5 stars.
Cons: Restaurant was nice and quiet in daytime.
