Río Camuy Cave Park (Parque de las Cavernas del Rio Camuy) is 12 mi. (19 km) s. off Hwy. 129. The 250-acre (102-hectare) park's massive cave network encompasses one of the largest underground river systems in the world. Trams transport visitors to the mouth of one of the caves, where guided walking tours begin.
Tours require a moderate level of physical activity that includes climbing stairs; non-slip shoes are recommended.
Guided tours are available. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 3 hours minimum.
