Luis A. Ferré Science Park (Parque de las Ciencias Luis A. Ferré) is on Rte. 167, just s. of Diego Expwy. (Hwy. 22). The 42-acre park's extensive facilities include a plaza containing life-size rockets, a planetarium, an art gallery and a small zoo area. Trains, natural science and transportation are just a few of the topics featured at the numerous museum exhibits, where attendants are on hand to provide additional interpretive information. Visitors also can explore a re-created Puerto Rican pueblo or rent paddle boats and cruise a manmade lake.
Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
