Nicely designed, chic lobby. Very clean. Room was very spacious, with double beds and extra couch.
Pros: Modern design, room size, bath.
Cons: The location was more business-like than tourist. Pool was small and seemed like part of the parking lot.

Pros: For a business traveler everything was very good. I travel regularly and I usually stay at HGIs or Townplace suites and it is very comparable to those. This Hyatt and the one in Bayamon (virtually identical layout and condition) are better than Hilton’s Hampton Inns or Marriott’s Fairfield Inns, for comparison.
Cons: I arrived late Sunday night, around 1:15 am as my flight landed in San Juan around 11:45 pm. When i arrived at the hotel, the agent told me they didn’t have a room for me and had booked me in the Bayamon Hyatt-Which is why I know these two hotels are virtually identical. It wouldn’t have been a big deal except that I had meeting in the morning and had to drive back east over 45 minutes to get to the Bayamon Hyatt, making my commute in the morning well over an hour. I didn’t end up getting to bed until around 2:30 am and had to get up fairly early to head back out west! When I explained this to my colleagues, the next morning, they said that the same thing had happened to them before at that hotel. So likely, they are overbooking rooms and the last one to arrive gets bumped. My suggestion is that you call the hotel and confirm your arrival time and ensure they have a room for you. They booked me back into Hyatt Manati for the next few nights and paid for my first night.
