Tibes Indigenous Ceremonial Park (Centro Ceremonial Indígena) is on Rte. 503 at km 2.2. The site features seven pre-Taíno ball courts as well as the oldest burial ground yet uncovered in the area. Excavations conducted 1975-1982 revealed 186 human remains believed to belong to an aboriginal Indian population called the Igneris. The center includes a re-created Indian village and a museum with permanent and temporary exhibits.

Hours: Tues.-Sun. 9-4; park opens on Mon. holidays and closes the following day. Last admission 1 hour before closing. Closed Jan. 1, Good Friday, Mother's and Father's Days, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
