Pros: The friendliness of the Puerto Ricans. The comfortable (and seemingly clean) bed.
Cons: Dirty, stained sofa and armchairs, threadbare bathmats, old greyish bathrobes, chipped crockery, used Kleenex and paper cups strewn around outside ( the entire week), old rusty beachchairs. Staff that are nice but haven't a clue what service means. Non-existent management. Bad lighting in rooms and practically none whatsoever in public areas.
Pros: Amazing hotel. Beautiful surroundings. Picturesque trees and animal life.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Cons: Daily rain showers from 4:30-5:30 due to proximity to rain forest. Just a drizzle but I guess I'm spoiled.
