Historic. Considered to be the most refined dining experience in San Juan, this restaurant is set among striking, luxurious surroundings. From the moment I arrived, a team of servers provided lavish attention. The chef showcases his talent by using mostly organic and local ingredients to prepare exquisite dishes that borrow from the culinary traditions of Latin America, Europe and Asia. The suckling pig, slow-cooked cod and goat fricassee are just a few of the house favorites. The two dining options are the four-course prix-fixe menu and the multi-course chef's tasting menu. Be sure to splurge by ordering the banana pudding with coffee ice cream and peanut-toffee-rum-caramel sauce.
