Río Abajo State Forest (Bosque Estatal de Río Abajo)

Río Abajo State Forest (Bosque Estatal de Río Abajo) is reached via Rte. 10 to Rte. 621. Teak and mahogany trees cover the oddly shaped karst hills of the 5,730-acre (2,319-hectare) forest, which contains a recreation area and offers exploring possibilities in dozens of mountain caves and ruined sugar mills.

Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.
