Maritime Museum of Québec (Musée Maritime du Québec) is off Hwy. 20 exit 400 at 55 ch. des Pionniers Est (Hwy. 132). Housed in a former convent built in 1877, the museum describes the history of navigation on the St. Lawrence River. Models, sailing ships, wooden boats and exhibits about Capt. J.E. Bernier's Arctic exploration are offered. Located behind the museum, Hydro-Québec Park, home to the ice breaker Ernest Lapointe and the hydrofoil Bras d'Or 400, features walking trails, interpretive displays and splendid views of the St. Lawrence River.
