Coaticook River Gorge Park (Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook) is at 135 rue Michaud. A 3.5-kilometre (2 mi.) trail with wooden steps and a suspension bridge parallels the pre-glacial gorge with cliffs rising to 50 metres (164 ft.). The Nocturnal Experience, Foresta Lumina, is a multimedia presentation portraying the world of nature that comes to life after dark, incorporating local heritage and the folklore of the forest. A playground also is on-site.
Note: The steep terrain may be difficult for some to negotiate. Nonslip walking shoes are required. Guided tours in English are available; phone ahead for availability.
