The Museum of Gaspésie (Musée de la Gaspésie), 80 boul. Gaspé, presents exhibits about the history of the region and works by local artists. On-site are an archive center, an impressive source of Gaspésian cultural and genealogical information, and a monument dedicated to Jacques Cartier. Audio guides describing the historical interpretation trail on the grounds are available for rent. Guided tours are available if requested a minimum of 1 week in advance. Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
