Saguenay Cruises (Les Croisières du Fjord) departs from the Bagotville Wharf in La Baie. Offering views of stunning natural surroundings, the narrated sightseeing trips explore the Saguenay River and fjord. After a 1.5-hour stopover in Ste-Rose-du-Nord, the journey continues to Cap Trinité, where the 9-metre-high (30-ft.), white pine Statue de Notre-Dame-du-Saguenay was erected in 1881.

Cruises departing from Ste-Rose-du-Nord, Baie-Éternité, L'Anse-St-Jean and Tadoussac as well as a shuttle boat service from La Baie to Tadoussac also are available.

Admission
Marjolaine fare $60; $31 (ages 6-14); $151 (family, two adults and two children). Fjord Saguenay II fare $77; $40 (ages 6-14); $194 (family, two adults and two children). A ticket administration fee of $3 per person is also charged, and a fuel surcharge may be applicable. Phone for other cruise fares. Reservations are required.
Hours
Departures require a minimum of 20 passengers. Cruises aboard the Marjolaine depart La Baie daily at 10 and return at 5:30, July 1-early Sept. Cruises aboard the Fjord Saguenay II depart La Baie daily at 9:15 and return at 5:15. Schedules for cruises departing from other ports vary. Allow a full day.
