Pros: This is a hotel with nice rooms right on a highway that backs onto a marsh that you can kayak on.
Cons: This is not a "nature retreat" and has been deceptively advertised as such. Forget being able to open the windows for fresh air at night if your room is at the front, the traffic a few feet away is noisy and if your room is on the ground floor there is no view of the lake either, there are no walking trails nearby at all and the beach is a public one quite a distance down the road. Not a place to hang out in really if peace and nature are what you want and need.

Pros: Clean very large room. Facilities were great for spa, sauna, boating, etc. Restaurant was excellent quality meals.
Cons: Each room has a fireplace and I am sure the fireplace in our room hasn't been used in a while. There was a slight odor as if the fireplace was just swept clean.
