Archéo Topo Centre (Centre Archéo Topo) is at 498 rue de la Mer. Archeology and anthropology buffs will love this museum's collection of artifacts, which includes such items as whaling equipment, First Nations weapons and mounted animals. Timeline displays and in-depth stories from the people who settled in the area also help to relate 9,000 years of history and culture.
Fun activities like pottery and dream catcher making are offered in the high season for a fee.
The orientation video is in French with English subtitles. An English brochure detailing a self-guiding tour of the exhibit area is available.
Picnicking is permitted. Food is available.
