Parc Oméga, 4 km (2.5 mi.) n. on Hwy. 323, is a 12-kilometre (7.5-mi.) drive-through 890-hectare (2,200-acre) wildlife park with free-roaming large and small native creatures. Inhabitants include beaver; wild boar; buffalo; fallow, red and white-tailed deer; duck; elk; goose; wapiti; raccoons; reindeer; bears; foxes; and wolves. Also on-site are a small farm with barnyard animals as well as walking and hiking trails along which visitors may encounter fauna. During the summer an animal spectacular show is presented. Pets are not permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
