La Ronde, on Île Ste-Hélène at 22 ch. Macdonald (M: Jean-Drapeau), is an amusement park with more than 40 attractions and rides. It includes such roller coasters as ENDÖR - L'attaque, a suspended coaster built in part above Lac des Dauphins; the Goliath, which is more than 53 metres (175 ft.) high; and Titan, the latest addition—a giant pendulum that swings at more than 112 kph (70 mph) and gives a feeling of weightlessness. Au Pays de Ribambelle is geared toward pint-size visitors. A spectacular international fireworks festival, L’International des Feux Loto-Québec, is held here on certain Wednesdays and Saturdays late June to early August.
All-inclusive $66.99; $49.99 (ages 60+ and children under 137 centimetres or 54 inches tall); free (ages 0-2). Prices may vary.
$27 per day, $30 for fireworks. $25 parking deposit required but refunded upon proof of purchase of La Ronde day ticket.
