Montréal Museum of Contemporary Art

Montréal Museum of Contemporary Art (Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal), next to the Place des Arts at 185 rue Ste-Catherine Ouest (M: Place-des-Arts), displays works by Canadian and foreign contemporary artists from its collection of more than 7,000 pieces. Works date from 1940 to the present. A sculpture garden also is on the premises.

Note: The museum building is closed for renovations and is scheduled to reopen in 2024. Exhibits can be seen at Galerie PVM, 1 Place Ville Marie, for the duration of the renovation process.
