AAA Editor Notes

Place Jacques-Cartier, on the slope from Champs-de-Mars to the waterfront in Old Montr&#233;al (M: Champ-de-Mars), contains the Nelson monument, erected in 1809 to honor Lord Horatio Nelson's victory at Trafalgar. Artists, musicians, jugglers, and acrobats perform in the square during the summer. Flower markets, caf&#233;s and historic buildings also are highlights of the area.</br>
