Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium (Planétarium Rio Tinto Alcan) is at 4801 av. Pierre-de Coubertin in Olympic Park and is part of Montréal Space for Life (M: Viau). It features the permanent exhibit Exo: Our Search for Life in the Universe as well as two planetarium shows.

When open, “Asteroid: Mission Extreme” shows every 30 minutes in French, beginning at 9:30 a.m. (English versions are shown at 11:30, 12, 2:30, 3, 5:30 and 6); “One Day...on Mars” shows every hour in French, beginning at 10:30 a.m. (English versions are shown at 12:30, 3:30 and 6:30). Phone ahead to confirm show schedules. Evening shows are not offered year-round; phone to confirm.
