Pros: The included breakfast was great value! I understand the hotel was undergoing some renovations/redecorating, but it was well-priced.
Cons: The gym had very limited equipment... Would have liked to see more space/free weights. It did not bother me personally, but I can see how the lack of an elevator may be troublesome for guests with lots of luggage or limited mobility.

Pros: Room was clean and relatively up to date. Price was fair. Breakfast was simple but nourishing -- toast, cheese, cold cuts, fruit, yogurt, brioche.
Cons: A little bit of a maze with creaky floors. A bit removed from the heart of Montreal, although a quick two minute walk to the Metro. The power plugs on the lamps only work if the lamp is turned on.
