Beside of the location I won't stay in it.
Pros: Location. Other than this, the staff are rude
Cons: Receptionists are rude. Everytime you ask a basic question, they don't know it.

Downtown Montreal - good spot for the money
Pros: I think this place gets a bad rap. It's a two star hotel, I paid---- and was able to stay comfortably in downtown Montreal. Pretty pleased. Last time I went I spent---- and stayed in a very nice room just down the street. Depends on who you're with.
Cons: No, I mean... it was very obvious it's a two star hotel but I'm not sure what else you'd want. Comfortable and clean.

Pros: Location was good, close to the Metro, and a short walk to St. Catherine St. Rooms were clean, and the little kitchenette was nice.
Cons: Parking garage was scary, but to be expected. Tons of paperwork to sign, a $100 deposit on the room, but not sure if that's the norm in Montreal or not.
