Pros: The kitchenet and cleanliness.
Cons: The location is close to a subway station, but the hotel is located in a small uncrowded narrow street which smells of pee, We saw a man going through the garbage right in front of the hotel and two people high on drug 10 steps from the hotel. We felt unsafe to go back to the hotel at night. The bathtub drainage was very slow so by the time we finished we were in a pool of soapy water. The air conditioning was very noisy. The alarm radio clock was brocken. For breakfast there was canned bean and canned fruits but no cheese or fresh fruits or yogurt. For $160 a night we could have got a better hotel.

Pros: good value for money, close to subway
Cons: Be aware of a new (cheating) trick from booking.com: say, you see the TOTAL price $350, then they charge your credit card $450, how come? Buy a good magnifying glass and read all tiny (and carefully hidden) print, which says somewhere at the end of page 5 that there are something that is not included. Thus, $400 from other website can be better than $350 from this one.

Pros: The room came with a kitchenette. Bathroom was big for the size of the room. Location was great! Stone's throw from Rue St. Denis (restaurants galore!) Perfect for a young couple or with family with young kids.
Cons: Beds were a little small. Breakfast staff were a bit curt.Decor was a bit dated and bland.

Pros: The room was nice, with a large single bed. I was happy with the air-conditioning, which was really necessary during my stay in Montreal.
Cons: The breakfast was the same every day of the week, with limited choice. Unfortunately the shower was not clean upon arival.
