It was very welcoming. The staff was helpful; the room was clean; there was plenty of hot water and the bed was comfortable.
Pros: Clean, comfortable room.
Cons: Free WiFi was limited as was the in room coffee service.

Very good boutique hotel in Old Montreal. The room, the staff, and the location was very good! Wi-fi was free too!
Pros: The room was quiet. Check-in and check-out was a breeze and the staff was very friendly and their all-around hospitality was greatly appreciated!
Cons: Cracks on the bathroom floor tile were present, the fit of the closet doors was not flush so they did not open or close well causing squeaks, and the windows did not open or close very well either resulting in paint scratching off the surrounding window opening. The fire alarm also went off late in the evening one of the nights we stayed and caused several fire trucks to arrive. We did not receive any indication what the cause of the unexpected fire alarm was, just an "all clear" from the staff.

Pros: The location was great. It is walking distance to just about everything. The staff were very friendly, helpful and bilingual which is essential if you don't understand French. I even enjoyed the dark walls in the halls and low lighting.
Cons: Valet parking.

Pros: Great location and good/helpful/attentive staff. Great bathroom. Comfy bed and window that opened to allow for some fresh air.
Cons: Room was very small and virtually no seating other than desk chair or lying on the bed.
