AAA Inspector Notes
You cannot beat the location of this stylish corner restaurant and bar, which faces an urban park and the colorful windows of the Palais des Congrès Convention Center. The restaurant takes its name from the Montreal daily newspaper that once occupied the hotel's main building. The menu features market-fresh cuisine with regional influences and just enough lighter pub fare, like a large steak sandwich, to satisfy the bar and lunch crowd. The dinner menu includes such items as Atlantic cod, lamb shank, Québec pork, seafood pasta, Angus beef and duck confit.
