AAA Inspector Notes
Close to the convention center and art district, this is a favorite of young locals thanks to a lively bar scene and communal seating. The menu showcases Nikkei cuisine, which features Peruvian ingredients prepared with Japanese techniques. The result of this combination is a symphony of fresh seafood, warm spices and ultra-crispy pork and duck. Small plates make this ideal for a light meal or creating a shareable feast for a group. The modern dining room does not have a traditional layout; seating is exclusively on backless stools at either a long wraparound counter or the large communal high-top table. The cocktail menu showcases pisco, a type of brandy made in Peru.
