AAA Editor Notes
Royal Battery (La Batterie Royale), rues St-Pierre and Sous-le-Fort within Place-Royale, is part of the military defense system built in 1691. The battery was used to defend the city during the siege of 1759. It was completely rebuilt in 1977. In summer, a gunner demonstrates how to fire a cannon.
