Saint-Louis Forts and Chateaux National Historic Site (Lieu historique national des Forts-et-Châteaux-Saint-Louis), can be accessed from the Frontenac kiosk on the Dufferin Terrace. Activities include chocolate tasting (late June to early September), a daily archeological dig and 30-minute guided tours. This archeological site offers a nice view of the St. Lawrence River. Guided tours are available.
Free in 2017 to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation. Otherwise $3.39; $2.96 (ages 65+); $1.65 (ages 6-16); $8.52 (family, up to seven people with maximum two adults). Additional fees are charged for some activities, theme days and guided tours. Beginning in 2018, admission will be free for ages 0-17.
Hours: Daily 10-6, mid-May to early Sept.; 10-5, early Sept. to mid-Oct. Guided tours in English depart at 10:30 and 4; tours in French depart at 11 and 4:30.
