This historic property has upscale, individually decorated rooms with an eclectic mix of antique and contemporary furniture. A few rooms have therapeutic tubs, upgraded shower heads and heated floors. Bedding is upscale and the bathrooms are smaller but stylishly remodeled. The hotel is on a charming Old Québec street near art vendors and the Château Frontenac. In summer, the street is open only to pedestrians; but there is a disembarking zone at the end of the street for unloading luggage. Baggage assistance is available to haul bags up the four stories since there is no elevator. Pay parking is available in a nearby municipal lot. Valet parking is offered in the summer. One section of the hotel was built in the middle of the 17th century. Another section was built circa 1850.
