Pros: Absolutely charming hotel located in the lower town of Old Quebec City. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff. Check in was quick and efficient. The hotel lobby seating area was beautifully lit with candles which added to the charm. There was also a convenient self serve wine bar in the lobby which was accessible by a hotel card that you are given at check in. You are charged by the glass and type of wine you select. A very nice added touch. There was also an excellent Italian restaurant, Il Matto which is connected to the hotel. It was booked solid on Friday & Saturday night so advance reservations are recommended on weekends. The rooms were very well appointed, with high ceilings, which gave the room a very open feel. The highlight was the beautiful modern bathroom. My only complaint was that the air was very hot and dry in the room. This could be improved with the addition of a humidifier. I would recommend this hotel to couples who want the comfort and tranquility of a boutique hotel which is just steps away from all the sights and good restaurants. Would definitely return.

Pros: This was a extremely comfortable room. We traveled here in the winter and it was wonderful to lay in bed and watch the snow falling outside.
Cons: Breakfast was a little sparse

Pros: The location in the lower part of Old Quebec was convenient to restaurants, art shops, and other shops. The Funicular is several blocks away. The Funicular is a ride from lower to upper parts of town, or you can take the stairs. The staff was friendly and nice. The room was clean and modern with interesting views across the rooftops and the river. The shower is a large walk-in with pump dispensers of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There are low light motion sensor lights that come on when you get out of bed. We ate at the Italian restaurant on the first floor twice, and loved the food. The continental breakfast is presented in the restaurant. It's definitely better than an American continental breakfast.
Cons: The easy chair in the room was only moderately comfortable and there was only one. The pillows are too stuffed, even though they seem high quality, and are the type to give you a neck ache. I'm glad I brought my own pillow. We had no rug on the wood floors (all pictures show a rug). When it's cold out, I like a rug on the floor. The valet parking is a mixed bag. The employees attitude is awesome, but we find it inconvenient to have our vehicle parked 5 blocks away. Warning: we walked to our truck to get it ourselves to go exploring, only to find you can't exit the parking garage yourself. An employee must do it with a remote control to unlock the gate. It only took them 10 minutes to come and let us out. Another warning for anybody who has never been here. The streets are cobblestone and very narrow. At dinnertime, all vehicle traffic is banned and there are LOTS of people walking. We arrived at around 6pm, were unfamilier with the tight little neighborhood and wound up in throngs of people walking. Thankfully, a man showed us how to get our truck out of there. Also would have liked two vending machines, hidden away, to get a soda or snack. The streets were icy and it would have been convenient.

Pros: Location was perfect. Hotel was comfortable.

Pros: Fantastic customer service. Would definitely return
Cons: Be sure to figure in taxes when you see the price-- perhaps for any hotel in Canada? Our first time traveling there from the states.
