Sherbrooke Historical Society (Société d'histoire de Sherbrooke) is at 275 rue Dufferin. A former postal office built in 1885 houses the city's archives as well as two exhibition halls featuring interactive historical displays and an exhibit about the Frontenac Power Plant.
Self-guiding iPad or iPod heritage tours are available through the interpretation center. Guided walks around the Magog River Gorge also can be arranged.
Note: The attraction is closed through December 2017 for renovations; phone ahead to confirm schedule.
