Parc Safari, 8 km (5 mi.) w. on Hwy. 202 off Autoroute 15 exit 6, is a 200-acre family-oriented park with a zoological theme. The animal area includes a drive-through wildlife park highlighting more than 800 animals from five continents; the Deer Trail; carnivores, including lions and tigers, which are viewable via an observatory and a tunneled glass walkway; a pedestrian bridge spanning the primates’ habitat; and Afrika Terrace, where giraffes get up close and personal with visitors.
The amusement area offers mechanical rides and miniature golf. Nairobi Park is a play zone for young children. The on-site water park has, pools, tube rides and lake and beach areas. In addition live shows are presented on three stages.
Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 4 hours minimum.
