Exporail, The Canadian Railway Museum (Exporail, le Musée ferroviaire canadien), 110 rue St-Pierre, contains a collection of 250,000 railway objects and documents, including 162 pieces of rolling stock, an exhibit pavilion showcasing 44 of its best vehicles, a turntable and two train stations. Visitors can take a ride aboard a vintage streetcar and a miniature railroad. Guided tours in French and English last around 75 minutes. Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$18; $15 (ages 65+); $11 (students ages 13-17 with ID); $9 (ages 4-12); $45 (family, two adults and two children ages 4-12). Prices may vary.
Hours: Daily 10-6 (exterior site closes at 5), June 24-early Sept.; daily 10-5 (exterior site closes at 4), mid-May through June 23; Wed.-Sun. 10-5 (exterior site closes at 4), early Sept.-late Oct.; Sat.-Sun. 10-5 (exterior site closed), rest of year.
