Pros: The view across the St. Lawrence river
Cons: The dining room was closed for the season. The entire facility was in a shabby condition. The towels were thin. The room had a strong musty odor about it. It took five minutes to obtain hot water in the sink and tub
family with young children
Pros: The location is great..
The rooms are quite large.
Cons: The bathrooms need to be refreshed. . Very small and Old fashioned.
Pros: Room was fine and location convenient as well as scenic
Cons: Bathroom could be nicer, and there was no WiFi except for the main building and even then was limited and not useful. Also when using booking.com the main advantage is free cancellation when needed. This hotel had a totally different policy and had also taken a deposit when booking which is ok but I was not aware of that fact. Will try to confirm cancellation policies in future.

Pros: We really liked the old charm. Very nice grounds and location.
Cons: Wifi available in-room, not just at the front desk.
Cons: WiFi not available in room - only lobby.
Pros: Location was nice- there is a little look out place -very nice
Cons: Smell in the room. Rooms and furniture were dated, but it seemed that there may be better ones...
Pros: View of the St. Lawrence
Cons: Tiny dark bathroom, old hard to operate windows, dated room.
Pros: I have stayed here annually for the past 7 + years and always loved the view from the motel.
Cons: Motel was not available but no explanation given. Receptionist not very helpful. Room was really down at heel, not terribly clean, no coffee machine in room. Way too expensive for what we got. I don't think I will stay again.
Pros: Beautiful view and grounds. Staff friendly
Cons: trouble with shower super hot then cold. Very tiny bathrm. Old windows propped open with sticks. Free internet not available as advertised in our building. Restaurant fancy and expensive for us- ate elsewhere
Pros: Beautiful stone building, a little run down but clean.
Pros: The location and view of the St. Lawrence river are spectacular
Cons: Older property but well maintained
Pros: I love the view and the quiet atmosphere. The staff are most professional and helpful. The design is charming with a focus on the river. I've recommended it to my friends!!
Cons: The carpets are badly stained, mattresses are old and chair cushions need to be replaced. The bath/shower is old. I was disappointed that the dining room was closed but I do understand.
