Cyclorama of Jerusalem (Cyclorama de Jérusalem), 8 rue du Sanctuaire, is a cylindrical painting, 14 metres (46 ft.) in height and 110 metres (361 ft.) in circumference. Painted in Munich, Germany, this work depicts events in Jerusalem, on Calvary and in the surrounding countryside at the time of Jesus' crucifixion. The panorama, exhibited since 1895, is viewed from a raised platform in the center of the painting; a bilingual narration is provided.
