The Drouin House

The Drouin House (La Maison Drouin) is at 2958 ch. Royal on Île d'Orléans in the village of Ste-Famille. Docents lead tours of the 1730 farmhouse, which the Drouin family, the home's third inhabitants, occupied until 1984. Interesting features include the original roof framing with retention pins, handmade wrought nails, a stone hearth and a bread oven.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
